Assist with the development of airport master plans, analyzing gate and terminal layouts, managing on-call aviation planning services, recommending long term plans to implement company's strategic objectives and support for project managers in general planning tasks. •This position supports the Manager – Aviation Planning - Duties to include developing and maintaining central repository for system wide gate plans and exceptions •Work to develop internal solutions and manage contractors •Assist in reviewing airport master plan and development concepts, space master plans, feasibility studies, land/easement acquisition services •Develops and prepares written reports for terminal and gate planning studies which can include presentations of technical information to senior leadership, internal and external stakeholders, including airports •Performs technical analysis and develops conceptual layouts for the purpose of providing recommendations for terminal or off terminal facilities
Required • College Degree • AutoCad, Revit, Civil2D/3D and/or GIS applications • 3-5 years Architecture, Civil Engineering, Airfield Planning • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Preferred • College Degree (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Aviation Management) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Gate layout modeling (PathPlanner or AviPLAN) • 3-5 years in Aviation Airfield and Terminal Planning • Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars and Orders; ACRP Standards (LOS); Airline Gate/Paint Layout Standards • Knowledge of International Civil Aviation Organizations (ICAO) airport design/operation standards and International Air Transportation Association (IATA) planning standards are a plus
