This is a professional position responsible for all administration of airline and airline support company leases, space rental agreements and use permits executed by the IAA. This position communicates with airline and airline related tenants, contractors and users at the airport, and general aviation airports.The Contracts Coordinator is responsible for creation of documents and/or amendments in consultation with the Tenant Relations & Contracts Specialist and other team members of the Commercial Enterprise Department.Creates and manages contracts, including the airline space/rental obligations and tenant spacebook reconciliation, while consistently managing the follow up of a myriad of customer (internal/external) requests, as well as review and creation of lease synopsis information for inclusion into PropWorks data base. Creates, maintains and manages all property and retail agreements in the database (Propworks), as well as provides direction and works with Commercial Enterprise department assistants and other staff as required to achieve success within the organization.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Have prior experience and a working knowledge of accounting principles and legal terminology
Knowledge of commercial leases and space rental agreements
Have computer experience including use of word processing software
Have good communication and writing skills
Ability to perform all of the physical and cognitive tasks outlined in the job description
Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, real estate; and/or legal experience in commercial property management; or any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the duties of Contract Coordinator
