The job of the Capital Project Manager (CPM) was established for the purposes of: coordinating and managing assigned construction and capital improvement projects and related activities; disseminating information related to capital maintenance to others internal and external to the Airport District; and implementing and maintaining a Capital Project Process within established guidelines and standards. •Assists in developing specifications for construction, repair, replacement, and renovation projects, as assigned (e.g. specifications, permits, project schedules, cost analysis, purchasing/bid processes, and construction administration, etc.) •Assists in the creation of District-wide multiyear capital construction/improvement plans •Coordinates capital construction activities for the purpose of ensuring that all phases of construction projects are completed within specifications, building codes, laws and regulations, and with minimal interruption to Airport passengers, visitors, personnel, and tenants. •Evaluates potential sites and/or condition of existing locations •Inspects and/or assists in inspecting all aspects of construction
