The General Manager reports to the Airport Executive Director and is responsible for the hands-on day-to-day operations of the FBO located at the Jackson Hole Airport. This position has P&L responsibility and includes oversight of all aspects of the FBO including customer relations, line operations, aircraft maintenance, fuel sales, hangar management, quality control and environmental and safety compliance. The General Manager will promote a positive team environment to better serve our customers and to integrate with the overall Airport Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Manage the financial performance of the Jackson Hole Airport’s FBO, including gross margins, budgeting, forecasting and expense management.
Work with Executive Director to develop, maintain and adhere to an annual budget and develop capital improvement plans.
Conduct ongoing market analysis to continually evolve pricing, selling points and product offerings.
Maintain regular interaction with based aircraft tenants and air carriers to improve customer satisfaction while using customer feedback to continually increase capabilities and processes.
Operate the business in compliance with governing policies, laws and regulations, to include but not limited to the Airport, FAA, Department of the Interior, National Park Service, State and other rules, regulations and policies.
Maintain a readiness to handle emergencies. This includes the development and maintenance of an Emergency Plan and compliance with Airport Emergency Procedures.
Ramp management and planning.
Operation of the new fuel farm.
Participate in long-term planning activities with other Airport management including infrastructure and implementation of the Fly Quiet Program.
Accounting and fiscal activities, including generating and analyzing monthly financial statements, monthly closing of sales accounting database, monthly sales reports and statements, monitoring expenditures, maintaining vehicle and building cost records.
Lead department managers to emphasize safety through training and continual improvement to minimize equipment and aircraft damage.
Negotiate with vendors and work to ensure service levels are maintained.
Participate in plans to expand facilities, and oversee maintenance and improvement of facilities.
Work with Executive Director and Human Resources Manager to oversee personnel matters, including training, hiring and annual review process. Provide recommendations to Executive Director for wage increases.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Aviation Management or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in managing a FBO.
Airline servicing experience and a working knowledge of fuel farm operation are highly desirable.

Jackson Hole Airport is a resort airport located entirely within Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole Airport provides annual air service to Jackson, Wyoming. The airport has approximately 300,000 enplanements a year.
