GDA Engineers provides our clients a comprehensive offering of land surveying services including traditional survey mapping, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) survey data acquisition. As Survey Department Manager, you will be responsible for managing a growing department, full of experienced staff, possessing a full complement of skills. The variety of projects you will encounter include survey plats, ALTA land title surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction surveys, legal descriptions and other surveying related products. Additional duties include training and supervising less experienced staff, client relations, and project management. This is a full-time, benefited position. Salary range $70,000 - $100,000/year DOE. We will consider placing the successful candidate in any of our 3 office locations (Cody, WY, Heber City, UT, Boise, ID).
What you bring to the Team:
At least 5 – 10 years of relevant experience
Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Survey Engineering or related field
Licensed Land Surveyor capable of being licensed in Wyoming and Utah within 6 months
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Survey Equipment, Trimble Business Center, and MS Office
Business development experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience in preparation of land survey documents
Working knowledge or interest in working with UAS Mapping
