The Airside Operations Compliance Coordinator performs highly technical and detail-oriented work involving regulatory compliance, operational document management, and coordination of FAA-required programs and records. Primary responsibilities include updating and maintaining the Airport Certification Manual (ACM), Letters of Agreement (LOAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Airport Emergency Plan (AEP), training materials, and other operational compliance documents. This position coordinates timeline-sensitive updates, maintains document accuracy and version control, prepares materials for inspections and audits, and ensures operational records comply with FAA, TSA, and airport requirements.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma (or GED equivalent) and five years of related work experience OR
Associate’s degree and three years of related work experience OR
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or related field (Preferred)
Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Required Licenses or Certifications
Valid Driver’s License (Required)
Non-Movement Area Driving Certification (Required to be obtained upon hire)
Movement Area Driving Certification (Required to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
Work experience in Airport Operations at an FAR Part 139 certified airport and familiarity with Charlotte Douglas International Airport (Preferred)
AAAE C.M. or AAAE ACE Operations (Preferred) ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 (Preferred)
