The Charlotte County Airport Authority (CCAA), operator of Punta Gorda Airport (PGD), is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform advanced accounting work supporting general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, budget monitoring, audit preparation, and financial compliance.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting experience. Knowledge of GAAP, GASB, and governmental accounting practices is required. Governmental, public sector, enterprise fund, and NetSuite experience are preferred.
Salary Range: $80,450 - $102,500 annually.

The Charlotte County Airport Authority (CCAA) owns and operates Punta Gorda Airport (PGD), a growing commercial service airport serving Southwest Florida. Conveniently located off Interstate 75 between exits 161 and 164, PGD provides easy regional access for residents, visitors, and businesses.
