St. Louis Lambert International Airport is seeking an experienced public safety/security professional to direct the overall operations of its police unit including Patrol, Dispatch, CID, Canine and UCR. Person is responsible for ensuring the enforcement of federal and state laws and St. Louis County ordinances in coordination with the Transportation Security Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, FBI, Secret Service and other law enforcement and public safety entities. Incumbent is responsible for daily administrative duties and supervision of officers and support personnel in compliance with established policies and procedures. Person reports directly to executive leadership.

Persons who do not reside in the City of St. Louis must take up residence within the City of St. Louis within 120 days of completing a six month probationary period if hired. EOE
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or a related field plus five (5) years of command experience at the rank of Airport Police Lieutenant or higher, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Must be certified or eligible for certification as a Police Officer by the State of Missouri.
Must be deputized or eligible for deputization as a Police Officer by St. Louis County Missouri
