Responsible for the creation, administration, asset management, testing and deployment of indoor navigation technology for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •Plan, oversee and execute indoor navigation technology deployments and related project initiatives. •Communicate indoor mapping and smartphone application objectives for Airport business and passenger processes. •Develop project rollout plans and report status to Port staff and Airport customers. •Conduct or manage software and hardware deployments, testing and troubleshooting of indoor positioning technology. •Communicate and coordinate customer needs and requirements analysis with internal and external stakeholders. •Collaborate with multiple port departments and various product development teams to deliver solutions for stakeholders.

Knowledge of state-of-the-art indoor navigation technology, evolving industry standards for map formats and indoor cartography content management systems. Knowledge with indoor mapping and radio frequency surveys. Knowledge of mobile devices, software systems, databases and web services. Skills in basic software development, testing and / or computer scripting experience. Detail-oriented, organizational skills and ability to understand when and how to communicate with executives, management and staff. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with management, internal and external customers, peers, direct reports. Ability to self-manage and operate independently. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with external and internal departments, groups and organizations to gain buy in and support. Ability to prioritize the multiple and varied competing demands placed on the organization
QUALIFICATIONS: Combination of education and experience demonstrative knowledge, skills and abilities equivalent to:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field; and
Three (3) years of experience in system or software testing with some experience in software development projects.
Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field; and
Five (5) years of experience in program/project management, indoor navigation technology, software development and system testing.
