Full Time - Experienced
Oversee the performance of several complex systems that are critical and essential to airline and airport operations. Responsible for system oversight of the day to day operability of the systems and acts as the liaison for systems with internal and external stakeholders.
Systems Administration and Oversight •Terminal Wide Voice Paging Systems •System configuration •Education of end users •Post-event analysis of system performance irregularities •System representative to users, projects, designers, POS staff “the face of the system” •As system owner, coordination, scheduling, and planning of transitional activities of a system’s installation/removal •Market awareness of product offerings to meet objectives
Procurement & Project •Request for purchase, specification development, response review and selection committee participation •Project collaboration with designers representing the systems •Detailed review of project drawings and specifications related to terminal area, tenant projects, and technological deployment •Technical support for terminal background music and recorded message campaign and regulatory announcements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of system design, configuration, and functionality. Comprehensive knowledge of user needs and interaction with the systems. Knowledge of innovative and creative concepts/solutions.
Analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer service skills both internal and external. Effective communication of technical information.
Ability to work independently, self-starter, self-educator and confident decision making. Ability to understand, respect and accept differing viewpoints and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
QUALIFICATIONS: Combination of education and experience demonstrative knowledge, skills and abilities equivalent to:
Bachelor’s Degree; and
Three (3) years airline and/or airport operations experience related to passenger processing technology
One or more years of experience in airline and major international airport operational experience with knowledge and expertise of systems and industry technology.
