Colorado Springs Airport Properties/Planning/Construction Internship Program The Intern will gain experience in projects and construction, ground transportation rules and regulations, RFP research, airport rules and regulations, aviation related benchmarking surveys, and special assignments. The 2018 program lasts 1,600 Hours, with two weeks of unpaid vacation Anticipated Start Date is August 2018 Pay & Benefits: Each Intern receives bi-weekly pay of up to $1,024 for a 32 hour work week (50 weeks) or 40 hour work week (40 weeks) Interns do not qualify for City benefits Eligibility: Be working towards a bachelor's or graduate degree in aviation or related discipline Be proficient in Microsoft office software Have a strong work ethic Possess a valid drivers license Successfully pass a background check Send Resumes & Cover Letters to Jane Acosta (email@example.com)

The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is a city-owned, public-use commercial airport located in the heart of Colorado and is the primary-use airport for the Pikes Peak Region and Southern Colorado. The 3-runway airport is the second largest in the state and offers 13 nonstop flights with 5 airlines. Additional nonstop flights will be added in April 2018.
