The Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Airport Operations Supervisor.
Duties and responsibilities include: •Being available for on-call/ after-hours call-in assignments as necessary •Strongly adhering to all safety procedures for personal and vehicle safety, •Ensuring a safe and secure Air Operations Area (AOA) through inspections Update and Maintain the Airport Certification Manual (ACM) and Airport Security Plan, •Providing escorts as needed, •Addressing Airport tenant concerns, •Providing Airfield Ground Vehicle Operations (AGVO) training, •Wildlife management, •Issuing Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs) to disseminate information about changed conditions on the airfield in order to help ensure safety and FAA compliance, •Ensuring the Airport’s compliance with Advisory Circulars (AC), Federal Aviation Regulations Part 77, Part 139 and TSAR 1540 series regulations to comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements, •Overseeing the issuing/upkeep of gate cards and logs, •Other duties as assigned.
Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Advisory Circulars, Airport Certification Manual, the Airport Security Plan, ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, ability to work with high level contacts with tact and diplomacy, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, ability to work independently.
