This position is at Rickenbacker International Airport and performs operational and safety functions during an assigned shift. Ensures compliance with CFR Part 139 and TSR Part 1542. Responsible to maintain compliance with the Airport Certification Manual (Daily Airfield Inspections, Wildlife Hazard Management, NOTAM Issuance, Winter Weather Operations, Emergency Response, Conducting Part 139 training, etc.). This position is also responsible for Fixed Base Operations duties such as fueling and servicing of aircraft and ground equipment; greeting customers; assisting with baggage; marshalling aircraft and operating a Point of Sale system. Other related duties include airfield efficiency assessment and individual project work.
Excellent benefit package with an anticipated annual starting pay of $43,846 ($21.08/hr) plus overtime.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelors or Associates degree in aviation management, business, public administration or related field. Equivalent education, work experience, knowledge and skills may qualify. • One (1) year of civil aviation operations and/or FBO line staff/ramp experience preferred. • Must be able to complete all applicable aircraft line service training requirements • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license • Must be capable of working alone and serving as CRAA's single point of contact while on shift
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of airline and airport operations, fixed base operators. • Knowledge of airport administration and procedures. • Knowledge of FAA certification requirements, policies and procedures; 14 CFR Part 77 and 139, TSR 1542 and 1544 and applicable Advisory Circulars and Security Directives. • Knowledge of snow removal and ice control operations. • Ability to work snow and ice control operations. • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. • Ability to work overtime. • Ability to be on-call and respond on a 24 hour basis. • Must be flexible with work hours. • Crisis management skills. • Ability to analyze situations quickly and objectively and to determine a proper course of action to be taken in an emergency situation. • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities occurring simultaneously. • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in establishing, applying and interpreting policies and procedures. • Ability to identify various aircraft. • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, representatives of other agencies, and the general public. • Ability to type, operate computer equipment, and use wildlife pyrotechnic devices. • Strong computer skills
