Under the general supervision of the Deputy Director, during assigned shifts, monitors operations with a focus on assigned facilities. Responsibilities may include the landside or airfield including monitoring personnel operating on the airport for compliance with FAA, TSA, and Airport Authority rules and regulations.
Liaisons with tenants and the public to maintain communication channels and to ensure a positive environment is maintained and concerns are addressed.
Assists with the credentialing of personnel and attending the reception desk as needed.
Assists with maintenance and snow removal operations as necessary. Responds to incidents and emergencies.
Provides training to employees and other personnel with duties under the airport operations manuals. Manages the IT infrastructure including but not limited to the airfield inspection program, administrative network, credentialing/ training systems, common use systems and FIDS.

Bachelor's degree in Airport or Aviation Management or related field.
Experience in operations, maintenance or security at a FAR 139 airport.
Demonstrable written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to write and interpret technical documents.
Demonstrable proficiency with computers and standard office software.
Knowledge of airfield and terminal operation and design requirements including FAR part 139 & 77 as well as TSR 1542.
Ability to meet and maintain eligibility for SIDA clearance.
Current and continued possession of a state driver's license.
