Assistant FBO Manager
Naples Airport
Assists FBO Manager in the daily operation, training and supervision of department staff including, customer service and line service personnel responsible for all aircraft servicing and ground handling. Assists FBO Mgr with directing operations personnel involved in establishing/promoting/maintaining the Airport Authority’s fixed base operations services. Reviews daily inspections and work orders to insure that corrective measures are being initiated. Informs FBO Manager of operational/service level and emergency response issues. Schedules staff to insure customer service levels are maintained. This is a fast paced environment with a high volume of fuel sales. Must have working knowledge of FBO, airport and airline operational and emergency procedures. FBO Mngmt experience with FAR 139 experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration or related field is required or combination. Must have full working knowledge and understanding of FBO, airport and airline operational and emergency procedures. FBO senior management level experience with FAR 139 experience preferred to include, ground handling procedures, security regulations, customer service issues and emergency response. Must have expert knowledge of aircraft re-fueling, fuel quality, fuel testing, and aircraft towing, etc. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and a proven record of anticipating safety issues while actively working to prevent accidents. Some examples of abilities of the right candidate include: attentiveness, patience, effective time management, embodies a calm presence, motivates employees, flexible/adaptable, and the innate ability to “read” customers and users of the FBO.A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in aviation management, business administration or related field is required. Or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience along with progressive supervisory experience. |
