The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is seeking a highly qualified and seasoned Airport Operations Supervisor II to become a key member of the Terminal Operations team. In this role you will have the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders and engage in the day to day terminal operation as Duty Manager of the airport terminal. Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college with major coursework in Criminal Justice, Aviation Management, Airway Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field, plus four (4) years of airport security, terminal airport operations, or airside airport operations work experience, two (2) of which was in a leadership/supervisory capacity.
One (1) year of directly related professional experience may substitute for one (1) year of the required education up to four (4) years.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
Valid Texas Class “C” Driver’s License.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances required to work at an airport.
Experience working at a medium or large sized hub airport.
Experience working in Airside and Landside or Terminal Operations
