The Jackson Hole Airport is seeking an Intern for a 6 month period to work with our Operations team. The Intern will work in all aspects of Airport Operations with a team of seasoned professionals. Duties may include airside and landside operations, airfield inspection, fuel farm operations, ARFF duties, maintenance and any other Airport Operations or administrative duties as assigned.
Airport Operations duties, including but not limited to airfield and grounds maintenance, building maintenance, interfacing with ground transportation providers, assisting in the coordination of parking lot management, glycol dispensation, some ARFF training and interfacing with all airport stakeholders and partners. This position offers broad exposure to airport operations in a unique setting at the only commercial service airport located inside a national park. If practical, the Intern will also gain some exposure to airport administration and finance.
The preferred candidate will be either a graduate of or in the process of studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or Airport Management. FBO and/or Fuel Farm experience preferred. Excellent people skills, teamwork skills and a desire to learn are essential. Our motto is "People Helping People" and we are looking for someone who is able to embrace that work ethic. This is a 6 month position that pays $17/hour.
