The Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport is seeking an Intern for a 6 month period to work with our Operations and Management team. The Intern will work in all aspects of Airport and FBO Operations. Duties may include airside and landside operations, airfield inspection, fuel farm operations, FBO operations, ARFF duties, maintenance and any other Airport Operations or administrative duties as assigned.
Airport Operations duties, including but not limited to airfield and grounds maintenance, building maintenance, some ARFF training and interfacing with all airport stakeholders and partners. This position offers broad exposure to airport operations in a unique setting at a commercial service airport that also owns and operates a full-service FBO. The Intern will also gain some exposure to airport administration and finance through special projects.
The preferred candidate will be either a graduate of or in the process of studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or Airport Management. FBO and/or Fuel Farm experience preferred. Excellent people skills, teamwork skills and a desire to learn are essential. This is a 6 month full-time temporary position that pays $15/hour.
