Hundreds of thousands of people in the Puget Sound are riding Sound Transit trains and buses every day, and we’re funded to design and build the largest transit system expansion in the nation. We’re looking for a Deputy Executive Director-Financial Operations to plan, direct and manage agency financial operations.
Assigned divisions may include Accounting, Financial Operations, Tax, Records Management and General Services. Responsible for design and maintenance of agency reporting and financial control environment, liquidity and risk management programs. Manages and coordinates activities with other Agency departments and outside agencies; and provides administrative support and advice to the CFO.
Required: A CPA or equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or closely related field and 15 years of experience in managing operations, programs and services in finance, that includes eight years of staff supervisory, budgetary and management responsibility; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
