Construction Field Engineer - IT Special Systems the candidate must have extensive field engineering experience to verify installation conformance with plans and specifications, participate in certification testing and commissioning, be able to assist with field decisions and help resolve construction conflicts on all Airport Redevelopment Program (ARP) projects.
Candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned systems, construction coordination, quality assurance, change order request evaulation and review and comment on submittals, bulletins, as-built drawings, contractor invoices and close out documentation.
Extensive technology experience with and knowledge of Airport IT Systems including; card access control, security door hardware, video surviellance and public address is required. Experience with cabling, audio/visual systems, networking and building automation is desirable.
Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, certification, training, skills, knowledge, abilities and aviation experience. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of progressive U.S. aviation systems design and construction experience with capital projects of $200 million or greater in value.
