This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the runway and taxiway system under Part 139 requirements, as well as other requirements under TSR 1540, 1542, and 1544. Incumbent staff are required to work shift schedules, and are considered essential personnel for emergency response. Staff may also be called upon to perform additional duties, including duties related to routine facilities maintenance such as snow removal, as needed. This position is subject to call 24 hours a day as necessary to maintain operations at the Wilmington Airport - ILG, a commercial airport in the Philadelphia Region, or other Delaware airport facilities operated by the DRBA. Ability to pass airfield driver certification, Part 139 and SIDA testing within 60 days of hire; Subject to background investigation, STA and CHRC; Ability to be trained in the operation and use of a firearm; Effective communication skills;
