The County of Volusia is seeking a Business Manager – Working Title: Director of Administration & Properties for the Airport division. This position is located in Daytona Beach, Florida at the Daytona Beach International Airport and will be responsible for property management/development (property accounting, contract negotiations, contract management, and revenue maximization), tenant relations, finance, administration and business strategy planning and implementation activities. Incumbent assigned to this classification is at-will and serves at the discretion of the County Manager.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Airline/Airport Management or related field and a minimum of seven (7) years Finance/Airport/Airline Management experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license at time of appointment.
A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum educational qualifications.
The preferred candidate will have a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Airline/Airport Management or related field and have received their A.A.E through the American Association of Airport Executives.
A valid pilot's license, financial certifications or real estate license is a plus.
