Bath County Airport Authority/Ingalls Field Airport Airport Manager The Bath County Airport Authority is seeking a motivated individual to serve as Airport Manager. The Ingalls Field Airport (HSP) is an active general aviation airport in a community setting serving the local population of Alleghany and Bath Counties, the cities of Covington and Clifton Forge, as well as the Omni Homestead Resort. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the airport, the individual in this role will be responsible for clearly communicating the airport’s vision and working effectively in a collaborative setting with all stakeholders, including customers, employees, vendors, regulatory agencies, local government, and the broader Bath County community. The position includes a full-time, competitive salary, beginning at $37,000 to $57,000, depending on experience, and an excellent benefits package, EOE.
Self-motivated with excellent customer relation skills.
Associates or technical degree and extensive experience in airport management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Degree in airport management is preferred).
A Pilot’s License is preferred, but not required.
Must possess and maintain a valid Virginia driver’s license.
Must be willing to work outdoors during inclement weather conditions.
Must be willing to learn the requirements necessary to keep the Airport compliant with all State and Federal regulations.
