Clinton National Airport is a seeking an executive professional that will be responsible for centralizing all Airport purchasing functions, to include providing procurement services to Airport departments. This person will formulate purchasing policies and procedures to improve services and budget planning.
Operates in accordance with all established purchasing guidelines, contract laws, and government procurement regulations. Applicants should have thorough knowledge of current methods and techniques utilized in contract development, recording practices, internal controls and information systems as applied to purchasing.
Acts a liaison to the service and supplier community. Understands the application of minority business and disadvantaged business participation in the procurement of services.
Bachelor's degree; related work experience in public, commercial or governmental purchasing in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
Current Purchasing certification is preferred.
