•The CTO is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all activities and strategy of the Information Technology (IT) department, which provides comprehensive airport-wide IT and voice/data communications and systems. A strong customer service focus is essential to success. Key to this role is the ability to provide innovative solutions. •The CTO, who also serves as Chief Information Officer, leads a staff of professionals who are responsible for IT service delivery and cybersecurity, and oversees consultants supporting technology delivery activities. The CTO reports to a Vice President and is expected to provide briefings to the CEO and Board of Directors on an as-needed basis. •Representative systems overseen include, but are not limited to: the ERP system, the local area network, fiber optics, Airport Access Control, Flight Information Display System (FIDS), paging system, camera surveillance, voice and data communications, data storage, parking/revenue control systems, and fire alarm systems.

A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field and at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 5 years strategic managerial experience leading teams of 5 or more. Experience in IT strategy development and execution preferred. An advanced degree in a related field (i.e. MBA/MBS) is preferred. Experience in a public agency or an airport environment is preferred. A.A.E. or C.M. accreditation from the American Association of Airport Executives desired. |
