The Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO) is accepting applications for the position of Airport Facility & Airfield Maintenance Manager.
Under the direction of the Aviation Director, oversees the maintenance and repair of the airport facilities, airfield, equipment, and grounds. Guides, directs, trains, coaches, and manages airport maintenance and custodial team members. Develops and oversees the department operating budget. Assists in the development and execution of airport capital improvement projects.
Minimum Associates degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Minimum five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in airport facility repair, airfield maintenance services, grounds maintenance, and custodial services. Supervisory experience preferred.
Salary: $71,978 with competitive benefits package through the City of Durango including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(a) retirement plan, 11 paid holidays, paid time off, and more.

Employment with the airport is contingent upon a background investigation, a fingerprint-based criminal history record check, and upon the ability to meet and maintain the qualifications necessary for unescorted access authority pursuant to 49 CFR 1542.
