Under general supervision, this position coordinates, oversees and performs journeyman level, routine maintenance and construction work on electrical equipment in accordance with FAA Regulations, National Electrical Code and Safety Requirements. -Coordinates, oversees, and performs routine maintenance and construction work on electrical equipment. -Plans for and assists with development of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and capital improvement plan. -Repairs, replaces or relocates equipment in accordance with FAA Regulations, National Electrical Code and Safety Requirements. Position is subject to twenty-four (24) hour work availability, including shift work, weekends, holidays, emergency calls, inclement weather, and special events.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of experience in electrical maintenance with motor control theory, electrical troubleshooting, and new electrical installation. State of Texas Journeyman License required. Five years electrical maintenance preferred. Experience with Airfield Lighting Maintenance preferred. Valid Texas Driver's License required. FAA Part 139 KAMA Airfield movement area Certified within 45 days of employment, FEMA N.I.M.S. - ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 Certified within 30 days of employment. Must be able to pass a 10 year CHRC and drug/alcohol screening.
