MDOT MAA is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (Fiscal Services Administrator V) within the Office of Finance.
The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a critical airport financial position providing financial analyses to support the management of airport operations and the capital program. The manager has a pivotal role with the executive management team, as the primary person for information regarding the future financial direction of MDOT MAA. MDOT MAA includes BWI Marshall Airport, Martin State Airport and Statewide Regional Aviation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ensuring airport cost recovery by establishing rates and charges;
Regulatory reporting to the Federal Aviation Administration, continuing disclosure for bond issuances and data for rating agency surveillance;
Developing of the 6-year revenue forecast which serves as the basis for the capital and debt financing program;
Performing complex financial analyses that entails aggregating various data sources for excel models;
Ensuring MDOT MAA is in compliance with Federal and State requirements; and
Designing and directing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and/or annual financial and operational internal and external reports.
EDUCATION: Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Airport Management, Mathematics or other related fields. Degrees in other areas will be considered on the basis of relevancy.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of experience developing financial models, financial projections, financial reporting, financial analysis and special studies with at least five (5) years of supervisory experience.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience with airport finance including rate setting, recovery of costs and reconciliations, bond issuances or other financing; and
Experience with managing multiple complex financial projects,
