Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. We are seeking exceptional candidates who thrive in a challenging, dynamic environment. This position is responsible for FAR 139 compliance and certification at the world's busiest and most efficient airport. Primary duties include inspecting the aircraft operating areas, responding to emergencies, coordinating airfield construction and maintenance activities, issuing NOTAMs, preparing and disseminating reports and other communication to stakeholders, and ensuring the Airport Certification Manual, Airport Emergency Plan, and other required documents remain current at all times. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Airport Management, or a closely related field and a minimum of one year of progressively responsible FAR Part 139 airport operations experience.
Oversees and inspects aircraft operating areas at the Airport for compliance with established Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and City policies and regulations and maintains records of inspections as required by the FAA.
