The Coos County Airport District (CCAD) is a Special District formed in December of 2002 to operate the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport which includes approximately 436 acres and thirty three (33) industrial, commercial, light manufacturing, warehouse, office and governmental facilities.
The Southwest Oregon Regional Airport serves the Southern Oregon coastal region, with the majority of users residing within the Coos, Curry, and Douglas counties. This catchment area is home to approximately 110,000 people and covers more than half of the Oregon coast.
The Southwest Oregon Regional Airport (oth), located in Coos Bay/North Bend, is the only commercial airport on the Oregon Coast and is served by United Airlines (SkyWest) to San Francisco and Denver. The Airport has seen a substantial increase in private general aviation visits, due in part to the world renowned Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, a 20 minute drive from the Airport.
