The Port of Oakland is recruiting a Port Maintenance and Construction Supervisor to supervise the regular maintenance and minor construction and repair of Airport and Harbor Facilities and infrastructure improvements except for items which are electrical, mechanical or plumbing; and is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining the budget for personal services, materials, equipment, supplies and contractual services.
Education: Graduation from high school or its equivalent supplemented by specialized courses in civil engineering, construction trades or related fields.
Experience: Three years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a position equivalent to a Port Maintenance Foreman or similar classification involving construction and/or maintenance and repair related to asphalt, concrete, building maintenance and marine facilities maintenance and/or airport maintenance.
Licenses: Must possess a valid California Class B driver's license at the time and for the duration of appointment.
