The salary range for this position is $76,080 to $93,563. A starting salary at or near the top-orrange is possible for the exceptional candidate. Also included is an excellent benefits package. Relocation assistance will be offered.
The City of Portland is seeking an Airport Maintenance Manager for the Portland International Jetport (PWM). This position manages and oversees all aspects of the Airport Maintenance department. The successful candidate will have strong communications skills, initiative and judgment and requires the exercise of judgment and the application of expert knowledge of civil aviation, airports, maintenance operations and personnel management. Bachelor’s degree with major course work in aviation management, business management, or related field or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Prior experience at a FAR Part 139 certified airport. Prior experience with 49 CFR 1542 and airport security, and knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations, specifically Part 139 and Part 77.
The Portland International Jetport (PWM) is a commercial service airport encompassing 806 acres and is served by eight airlines, representing three
world alliances, and one air cargo carrier. The airport processed nearly 2.1 million passengers in 2019. It is the busiest airport in the state of Maine and recognized by the FAA as a small hub airport. Thirty-one cities are served with nonstop service from Portland.
