Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking experienced project manager(s) to join our collaborative and innovative aviation team. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the leadership of our project team, including management of scope development and execution, project schedule and resource management, mentorship of project staff, and collaborating with our clients and partner agencies to solve complex challenges through communication and innovative engineering solutions. Technical responsibilities will include preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies and permits; leading proactive client interactions and communications with regards to FAA programming, and state and government agencies; performing QA/QC tasks; and supporting the onsite project engineer on construction projects. Travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited school or college AND at least 8 years of relevant experience; PE in any state is required with the ability to obtain a PE in both Oregon and Washington.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Leading aviation design projects
• Serving as the project manager on aviation projects
• Mentoring and leading engineering project teams
• Preparing scope of work, fees, contracts, plans, specifications, CSPP, construction management plans and/or cost estimates
• Performing QA/QC reviews
• Serving as Project Engineer on construction projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
