Ensures airport compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. Develops, implements and supervises a comprehensive contract compliance program for the airport. Performs site visits of all Airport concessions, to include but not limited to, food and beverage, hotel, rental car, and parking management to ensure compliance with all Department, City, State, and Federal requirements. Serves as airport liaison with CREO on oversight of Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program. Performs duties of Contract Administrator for KCAD, with coordination of appropriate Divisions within Department, and other City Departments. Performs periodic reviews of tenant and Sub-tenant agreements for compliance with all Department, City, State, and Federal requirements. Prepares ordinance requests and supporting documents for City Council. Serves as airport liaison over DBE/ACDBE, ADA and Title VI between CREO, FAA, and the airport. Assists with economic development opportunities. Oversight of lease, land, easement, and other property related documents for the Department.

REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, airport management, engineering, or a related field and six (6) years progressively responsible operational, business affairs or research and analysis experience in the operation and management of moderate sized airport facilities, law enforcement, transportation operations, and building operations management including two (2) years at the level of Administrative Officer; OR An equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Must successfully complete a 10-year FAA background check. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen as prescribed by the City. Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
