Highly responsible administrative and technical work planning, directing, implementing, and coordinating all Airport Security functions in accordance with the Airport Security Plan as approved by the Transportation Security Agency (TSA); and related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in aviation management, criminal justice, emergency management, business administration or a related field.*
EITHER:  Five (5) years of professional experience in in directing, implementing, and coordinating governmental regulatory security activities and plans, including those related to emergency response situations. Experience should include purchasing, administering contracts, and budgeting. At least two (2) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.  OR: Five (5) years of professional experience in working in a Part 139 certified airport security office. At least two (2) years of this experience must have been at an exempt (salaried) or supervisory level
A valid driver’s license.*  Applicants must be eligible for coverage under the airport’s auto liability insurance policy.

If selected for hire, applicants must provide original documents of their qualifying credentials to the hiring agency prior to their start date in this job classification.
