ARFF Deputy Chief - PVD
The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) is seeking an ARFF Deputy Chief. The ARFF Deputy Chief is a member of the RIAC management team, reports to the Vice President of Operations and Maintenance and is the primary training and administration support for the ARFF Chief. The Deputy Chief assumes the Chief’s responsibilities in his or her absence to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, NFPA standards and the Airport Emergency Plan.  The Ideal Candidate for this position will have a 4-year degree in fire science or a related field, however an Associate’s degree will be considered. Also, 5 years’ experience in a leadership role (Captain or higher) in an ARFF department is required. Experience managing Union employees is strongly preferred. Get more details:
