Jackson Hole Airport Board is seeking candidates for an Airport Operations Officer. This position is a part of the Operations team and will perform all Airport Operations duties, including safety and security inspections of the airfield, runways and terminal facilities, providing escorts and monitoring in secured areas and responding to calls for service both inside and outside. Must be able to assess situations quickly and objectively and determine the proper course of action within established rules and regulations while representing the Airport in a professional, positive manner. This position will be trained in and expected to perform duties as an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF).
Bachelor’s degree in aviation, airport operations or related field preferred. At least one year of work experience at a commercial service airport, general aviation airport, or in military aviation is preferred. Any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job will be considered. Exceptional people/customer service skills are a must. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and a physical exam.
