The Billings Aviation and Transit Department is seeking an Aviation and Transit Director. The Director of Aviation & Transit plans, directs and manages the City of Billings MET Transit System and the Billings Logan International Airport (BIL). This is highly responsible work coordinating the activities of both the Airport and Transit System with City departments and external agencies and providing administrative support to the City Administrator. The Director coordinates the Department’s activities with other City departments and external agencies including the FAA, FTA, FBI, TSA, DHS, EPA, and Secret Service and ensures compliance with FAA, FTA, and TSA regulations including certification requirements.
