Oversee activities involving daily operations and maintenance of airport facilities in accordance with governmental and airport policies and regulations.
Ability to pass a security background check and drug test.
This position is a safety sensitive position as defined in Ark. Const. Amend. 98, § 2(25). Persons employed in this position may not use marijuana at any time or any place.
Requires standing approximately 60%, sitting approximately 40%. Requires good physical condition and sufficient strength to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
Requires capability of performing essential job functions in a shop environment and exposure to outdoor environments and all-weather conditions.
Must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license or ability to obtain.
Ability to understand/carryout or give oral and written instructions, including the ability to read and interpret simple plans and specifications. Must be able to communicate with other employees and air traffic control tower using radios.
Requires the ability to read documentation, perform inspections, and drive a vehicle.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
At least 5 years experience in airport operations at a Part 139 airport, and a knowledge of emergency planning, Federal Aviation Regulations (including Part 139 and 107) and budget planning.
A bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
