This position will serve as the head of the newly formed Digital Services section within Aviation Technology division. The primary purpose of this position is to provide the necessary technical and strategic expertise to build enterprise digital architectures, data models and integration methodologies that will spearhead Digital Transformation initiatives for the three airports.
SALARY $82,492.80 - $125,424.00 annually.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS •Three years of experience developing, evaluating, using, and maintaining technical system hardware and software. •Bachelor's degree in computer science, math or a related field. •Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

Reporting directly to the Assistant CIO – Aviation, the Lead Information Technology Systems Specialist (Product Manager - Digital Services) will serve as the head of the newly formed Digital Services section within Aviation Technology division. The primary purpose of this position is to provide the necessary technical and strategic expertise to build enterprise digital architectures, data models and integration methodologies that will spearhead Digital Transformation initiatives for the three airports. As business units continue needing more automation and access to data and passenger behaviors change with adoption of digital and mobile services, this position will undertake the creation and implementation of a long-term Digital Strategy for the three airports. The digital strategy will encompass both B2B/B2C and address where and how the organization can use data to enhance customer facing (experience), optimize back-office service efficiencies (operational) and revenue generating opportunities (commercial). This person understands how digital can transform the organization and our customers and is obsessed with creating new products and services using data from across the organization and various BUs. The candidate must possess the leadership and technical savvy to develop a digital program from the ground up and deliver continuously. They will think of technology in layers and building blocks with intelligent integration platforms and data catalog, provide a foundation for developing low-code apps that optimize employee and customer experiences.
Key Duties:
Work closely with various lines of business to identify opportunities where digital and data can be a game changer and develop concepts and launch MVPs (minimum viable products) to make quick and measurable impact.
Develop an enterprise-wide view of where all data resides, how to access, harness and build technical architectures and governance, data cataloguing, building data libraries.
Build a cohesive digital ecosystem of value-add services that are passenger-facing including parking, security wait times, shops and amenities, virtual queueing, indoor navigation, baggage updates, and more which help create “customer stickiness”.
Create and implement a holistic integration methodology to transform how various systems and applications interface and exchange data. Implement and manage an Integration Platform with special attention to integration of data and workflows between on-prem and cloud.
Implement and manage an API gateway/management platform to simplify and set up a sustainable infrastructure that will make sharing and consumption of data with internal and external stakeholders easier and faster via APIs and microservices architecture. This effort will push API-led connectivity, an integration strategy that will support experiences, business processes.
Collaborate on broad thematic requirements including but not limited to passenger forecasting, customer relationship management, establishing “single source of truth” data sets in various domains to drive consistent and accurate decision making for various stakeholders.
Put together a strategy and platform for processing growing IoT and real time data use cases within the organization. Transition the current BI program to the next step by building a comprehensive analytics infrastructure that gives the right tools to the BUs and expands self-service.
Creating and maintaining policies, procedures, standards, configuration information and ensuring accuracy of all data, digital and integration services documentation.
Build a team that excels technically proficient in all things digital and can roll out new products and services at the pace of the business.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Ability to:
Take very technical and abstract concepts that deal with data and translate those to business and operational stories.
Evaluate current state, identify gaps, recommend investments to create a digital ecosystem of value-add services that are both inwards and passenger facing.
Work with little guidance and deliver on key initiatives through continuous collaboration.
Must be an advanced user of programming languages, databases, and software engineering techniques.
Passion for learning, teamwork, and helping others.
Team player who builds relationships with business units, other IT teams and is obsessed with raising the bar.
SALARY
$82,492.80 - $125,424.00 annually. Candidates may be hired up to $125,424.00 depending upon qualifications.
BENEFITS

Additionally, effective 10/1/2022, Paid Parental Leave is now offered to eligible employees up to 480 hours (12 weeks) of paid leave for the birth, adoption or foster care placement of a child during a 12-month period.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
Two - three years of experience in building data models, data libraries, data quality, data governance, and bringing together disparate data sets.
Experience with both structured and unstructured data is highly preferred.
Experience in “green-field” development of customer-facing products and services in digital.
Experience in implementing and/or utilizing integration platforms like Snowflake, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Talend, Informatica, Microsoft Azure Integration Services, etc.
Two - three years of experience in API Management and API Gateways.
