Position responsible for day-to-day airside and landside operations of the airport. Assists with rescue and post-accident recovery operations. Conducts ramp and hangar inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations of the airport. This employee is responsible for representing management on all matters concerning airport operations in the absence of higher authority. Acts as the primary contact for Airport management with tenants. FAA Air Traffic Control, Police, Airport Rescue and Firefighting personnel, contractors and other governmental agencies and city departments. Inspects terminal, facilities and grounds; coordinates and monitors airport construction activities; NOTAM issuance; completes special projects and/or assignments; assists with the badging and training process.
