Performs airfield operations duties to ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 139 and 77 regulations. Performs duties associated with the daily operation of airport facilities, maintains a safe environment for aircraft and the general public on an assigned shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays; responds to aircraft emergencies; provides aircraft rescue and firefighting services. Monitors facility security per 49 CFR Part 1542 requirements. Performs parking enforcement and other customer service functions. Monitors runway conditions for snow and ice contamination. Initiates and conducts airside snow removal. Performs airfield, perimeter, and terminal inspections. Minimum High School diploma or GED. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in aviation preferred.
