The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) is seeking an ARFF Deputy Chief. The ARFF Deputy Chief is a member of the RIAC management team, reports to the VP of Operations and Maintenance and is the primary training and administration support for the ARFF Chief. Assumes all of the Chief’s responsibilities in his or her absence, to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, NFPA standards and the Airport Emergency Plan. Responsible for maintaining all mandatory ARFF training records in compliance with FAA regulations. Oversees the development of standardized training and the establishment of safety and training policies, lesson plans, training guides, and performance competencies. Will have a 4-year degree in fire science or a related field, however, an Associate’s degree will be considered
