The salary range for the position is $84,994- $104,117-$123,240. Placement within the range will be commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience. The City of DeKalb, IL invites candidates for the position of Airport Manager. The Airport Manager oversees flight operations including pilot relations, hangar leasing, airport marketing and development, and relationships with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position serves as staff liaison to the Airport Advisory Board. The Airport Manager standard hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00pm with periodic evenings, and weekend duties. This position will be responsible for the supervision of the part-time airport line service staff.
We require a minimum of three years of professional experience in general aviation or a related field and previous supervisory experience. Must be willing to obtain Underground Storage Tank (UST) Cass A/B Operator Certificate within 12 months of hire.
