Rocky Mount – Wilson Airport is currently recruiting for the Airport Director position. The basic function of the Director is to plan, direct and manage the operational, financial and capital development of the Rocky Mount – Wilson Regional Airport. Under administrative direction of the Rocky Mount – Wilson Airport Authority, the Director is responsible for but is not limited to, planning, developing, and coordinating the operations, maintenance, budget and growth of the Rocky Mount – Wilson Regional Airport. Graduation from a four-year college with a B.S. degree in Aviation Management, engineering or Business Administration or a two (2) year degree in Aviation or Business Management with a minimum of five years' experience and / or training involving airport management; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Certified member (CM) or Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) of the American Assoc. of Airport Executives (AAAE)
Certification as a North Carolina Airport Professional (NCAP) or current enrollment in North Carolina Airport Leadership Management Program (ALMP)
