Consistent with the departure of the incumbent, the City of Los Angeles is now embarking on an international search to recruit a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is the department of the City of Los Angeles that owns and operates Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Van Nuys (VNY) general aviation airport. As the aviation epicenter for the nation's second largest city and hub of one of the world's most populous metropolitan areas, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is a highly complex and exciting enterprise in which to work. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with elected officials, local, state and federal agencies and other key stakeholders.
