SCOPE:

Perform duties to monitor airfield, airport facilities and personnel to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) a Sanford Airport Authority (SAA) regulations, in compliance with instructions and within the limitations of standard methods and procedures.

• 5+ years of experience in airport operations, preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in aviation management, airport operations, or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of airport safety and security regulations and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various airport stakeholders like airlines, concessions, tenants, security, local authorities, etc.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, split shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed 
• Computer skills including airport operations systems, database management, MS Office
• Valid driver's license with ability to operate airport service vehicles
• Emergency management training or Airport Certified Employee (ACE) certification is a plus
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
• At least 18 years old
• Able to pass Federal Background Check
• Able to pass a 10-panel drug screen and physical
