The City of Corvallis is looking for an Airport Coordinator to oversee the administration, property management, and operation of the Corvallis Municipal Airport to provide a safe and useful airfield, hangar facilities, and airspace. Coordinate with the City’s Economic Development Office in the development of the Airport Industrial Park. These tasks are illustrative only and may include other related duties.
Part-time, AFSCME represented position 30 hours per week 12-month probationary period
Associate's degree in Aviation, Business/Public Administration, Transportation Planning, Engineering or a relevant field of study providing the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position; a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study is highly preferred.
Two years of work experience in at least one of the following: airport management, airport operations, or other position-related work. Experience must include communication with the public in a customer service, public education and/or involvement capacity.
Possession of and the ability to maintain a valid Oregon Driver’s License.
Accreditation certification from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) preferred.
