As an Aviation Manager, you spend your managing and overseeing budget plans for operational needs, obtain and distribute resources, track expenditures, and monitor funding grant process. Other duties include supervising and evaluating airport employees, establish policy, procedure, guidelines and priorities in work schedules. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise in the city. This can include participating in long range planning of airport projects and budget appropriations. When you are not out in the city, you generally maintain, oversee fuel facilities for delivery of on specification aviation fuels, according to ATA 103 standards.
