This is a technical position required to support and ensure Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s (hereafter, “Airport”) compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and initiatives. Duties include those necessary for the compliance and improvement of environmental programs at the Airport. Reporting to the Airport Environmental Manager, this position resides in the Planning and Environmental Division of the Aviation Department. Work involves overseeing the Airport Environmental Compliance Specialist, supporting the Airport Environmental Compliance Coordinator, and supporting other department staff, City Departments, contractors, and external agencies.
